I began draughting over 30 years ago as a mechanical draughtsman. I have worked in many companies throughout my technical training starting at Predict (Boutique Brewers), Clark Equipment (Forktrucks) around Sydney’s North Shore in the late 1980’s. Then going to CBI Constructors (Petroleum tank storage and pipework design) in Blacktown NSW for the early to late 1990’s.
Also travelling and working abroad in the UK with several London based companies as a contractor with building services as (Hilton Morran also at Witney, Bird & Partners) for around 2 years in the late 1990’s. Returning to Australia to work in the Australian defence force at Richmond RAAF servicing the military aircraft at Richmond airbase.
I moved to Bathurst NSW to work for CDE with factory layouts on processing plant giants, as Mars Group and Simplot for the most of the 2000 to 2009.
As a part time teacher at Bathurst TAFE for three years I taught high school students and evening college students the basics of Autocad before setting up as the director and sole trader at Draxcel from the late 2000’s where I have since been working on model aircrafts, home design and commercial buildings. I am very versed in Autocad and Inventor software and can bring alot of technical skills and knowledge to a customer or company base about draughting on a large scope of projects. I am fully qualified as a mechanical design CAD engineer with a strong belief in continuous improvement in the workplace and high standards of quality assurance.
